The Accessibility Network welcomes students with access considerations, including disabled and differently abled students, students with additional support needs, and those who face challenges due to mental or physical difference. Students with support are also welcome to invite their supporters to join the network.
Only UHI Students are eligible to join the Networks. This is to preserve privacy and to ensure that students have a chance to share their experiences in an only student space.
We use Discord as an online base.
To get the discord invite, hit the "JOIN" button. You will need to be logged in with your registered student log in. Join will put the membership in your cart. Purchase the FREE membership and you will find the DISCORD link on your receipt.
Anonymity is preserved through aliases (display names) and members can self-select into specific groups. Each network is open to all those who self-define into that group, and we affirm that self-definition is at the sole discretion of the individual.
