The Students of Colour Network welcomes students who may experience discrimination due to racial or ethnic difference. Because racial and ethnic identities are complex and varied, students are encouraged to create specific groups within the Network that best fit their own needs and the unique issues they face.
Only UHI Students are eligible to join Networks. This is to preserve privacy and create an all-student space for sharing experiences.
We use Discord as an online base.
To get the discord invite, hit the "JOIN" button. You will need to be logged in with your registered student log in. Join will put the membership in your cart. Purchase the FREE membership and you will find the DISCORD link on your receipt.
Anonymity is preserved through aliases (display names) and members can self-select into specific groups. Each network is open to all those who self-define into that group, and we affirm that self-definition is at the sole discretion of the individual.
