The Living History Student Society is open to any members of UHI Orkney wanting to try out historical crafts and partake in experimental archaeology!
As a group, we plan on meeting regularly, to try out different historical crafts, such as spinning, needle-binding, leather-shoe making, and so much more! We do not have a membership fee, since not all members might want to participate in every project (and a lot of them can be self funded). Any new member however, needs to do an online registration, were they agree on a simple code of conduct, which needs to be renewed every academic year. This way we will also be able to have an e-mailing list for any general information we would want to send out.
